Central Office Needs an Alternate Coordinator

Our Central Office Alternate Coordinator, Maralyn E., is moving on to pursue career opportunities in her professional field. Maralyn has had a powerful, positive impact on the Albuquerque Central Office operation and appearance. Having been hired during a very challenging time – pandemic, sudden loss of the coordinator, multiple changes to the Steering Committee –  Maralyn exceeded everyone’s expectations. As a result of her efforts the Central Office now has a comprehensive training program, fully stocked literature inventory and professional retail space. We will really miss her.

We are now seeking to fill this important 8th Tradition role with a qualified candidate.

Candidates should have a minimum of two (2) years of continuous sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous.  While it is recognized that length of sobriety is not always a measure of the quality of that sobriety, this position demands significant familiarity with the A.A. message of recovery and the traditions of A.A.

You should also be a member of a listed A.A. group, have previous experience working at Central Office, and have a good understanding of its overall structure, and traditions of A.A. as they apply in everyday situations.

If you are interested in filling this vital role, please submit your application to Central Office at:
